The Gift that Keeps On...

So, in the spirit of the season, let's talk about gifts.

Re-gifting is a topic that keeps coming back. We've all had the experience of receiving a perfectly acceptable gift that for whatever reason just isn't something we intend to use. Is it okay to turn around and give it to someone else?

That turquoise sweater that clashes with your coloring. Three picture frames in a style you don't care for---and you've already displayed all the photos you possibly can. Eighteen candles scented like your Aunt Agatha's garage, but with an exotic name like Caribbean Passion it must be someone's favorite. Is it considered tacky to wrap it back up and give it to someone else?
